Privacy Policy
- We collect only what you type into the waitlist form, plus what’s needed to take a payment.
- No cookies, no analytics, no ad trackers on this site.
- We never sell your data or share it for advertising.
- You can ask us to show or delete your data at any time.
Who we are
App Bro is built and run by Resonance Logic, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company based in New York, United States (“we”, “us”). We decide how your data is used, which makes us the “controller” under data-protection laws such as the GDPR. To reach us about privacy, email support@app-bro.com.
This policy covers this website, the waitlist and the founding lifetime deal. The App Bro app will have its own privacy policy when it launches.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist
- Your email address (required).
- What you build for (iOS, Android or both) and links to your apps, if you choose to give them.
- Where your visit came from: a
?ref=orutm_sourcetag in the link you followed, and the domain of the site that sent you (only the domain, never the full address). - The consent line you saw under the form, and when you signed up.
When you buy the founding lifetime deal
- Your email address, the amount and currency you paid, Stripe’s IDs for the payment, when you paid, and whether it was refunded.
- Your card or other payment details go straight to Stripe and never reach us. Stripe may also collect your name and billing address to process the payment and calculate tax.
When you visit the site
- Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These are used to run the site and keep it secure.
- Our signup and checkout endpoints use your IP address briefly, in memory, to stop people sending too many requests. We don’t store it.
Cookies and storage on your device
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or social-media trackers. Fonts are served from our own site, not from Google. The X (Twitter) links are plain links: X learns nothing about you unless you click one.
To make the site work, your browser’s local storage keeps a few things on your device:
- your light or dark theme choice;
- your email after you join, so the page can show your confirmation when you come back;
- whether you dismissed the founding offer;
- your founding member number after you buy.
None of this is sent to us. You can clear it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
| What | Why | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Waitlist details | To email you when App Bro launches, and to understand what people build so we can prioritise. | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. |
| Purchase records | To give you lifetime access and early access, process refunds, and keep the accounting and tax records the law requires. | Performing our contract with you, and our legal obligations. |
| Server logs and rate limiting | To keep the site running and protect it from abuse. | Our legitimate interest in a secure, working site. |
Who else handles your data
We use a small number of service providers. Each one may process your data only to provide its service to us:
- Vercel hosts the website and its server functions.
- Supabase hosts the database that stores the waitlist and purchase records.
- Resend delivers our emails: the welcome email when you join, the founding-member email when you buy, and the launch email.
- Stripe processes payments. Stripe is also an independent controller of payment data it needs for its own legal and fraud-prevention duties, under Stripe’s privacy policy.
We don’t sell your personal information, “share” it for cross-context behavioural advertising, or give it to anyone else, unless the law requires us to.
International transfers
We’re based in the United States, and our providers may process data there and in other countries outside your own. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, they protect transfers with recognised safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist details: until you ask us to remove them, and at the latest 12 months after App Bro launches if you haven’t become a user.
- Purchase records: for as long as you have lifetime access, then for as long as tax and accounting law requires us to keep them.
- Server logs: for the short period Vercel keeps them.
Emails
When you join the waitlist, we send you one welcome email right away. While the founding deal is open, it includes that offer. After that, we’ll email you about App Bro’s launch. Founding members also get a welcome email, their early-access invite and service emails. We won’t send you unrelated marketing.
Every launch and waitlist email has an unsubscribe link. You can also reply “unsubscribe” or email support@app-bro.com. Unsubscribing stops launch and waitlist emails; founding members still get emails about their purchase and access. We don’t use tracking pixels or tracked links to see whether you opened or clicked an email.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- show you the data we hold about you, or send you a copy;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- stop or limit using it, or object to how we use it;
- withdraw your consent at any time. This doesn’t affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
To use any of these rights, email support@app-bro.com. We’ll answer within 30 days. We may need to keep some purchase records even after a deletion request, where tax or accounting law requires it.
If you’re in the EU, the UK or elsewhere with a data-protection authority, you can also complain to that authority. California residents have the same rights to know, delete and correct. We don’t sell or share personal information, and we won’t treat you differently for using your rights.
Children
App Bro is a tool for app developers and isn’t meant for children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us their details, tell us and we’ll delete them.
Security
Our database can be reached only from our own server functions, using a secret key that never reaches your browser. Public access to it is switched off. The site is served only over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect small so there’s less to protect.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use data we already have, we’ll email you before it takes effect.
